WATCH & REMEMBER...

PLEASE WATCH AND REMEMBER THIS....

ALWAYS always aLwaYs remember this! Don't panic. SERIOUSLY, i know you think you wont panic but it is so easy to lose your mind in a heightened situation! Last night my sister Bridget was making scones, she had the oil in the pan and warming, she went to walk in the other room real fast when she saw a reflection of fire on the wall. She turned around to see the pan on fire. She of course panicked and yelled for her husband. Brandon ran in, saw the fire and not knowing what was in the pan, grabbed the pan and threw it into the sink. He said had he known what was in the pan he would have just put the lid on, but the panic of the situation led him to act to quickly. We are ALL feeling so BLESSED that they are okay! It suddenly through Brandon down to the floor and splashed onto my sisters hand! Their neighbors from downstairs came running to see if they were OK. The neighbor immediately sent Bridget downstairs because she was pregnant and didn't want her breathing the smoke. She was kinda in shock so the neighbor girl helped her calm down, while Brandon and the neighbor boy were up stairs cleaning! Bridget's hand is pretty bad, her sister in-law Tai came and got Bridget and took her to insta-care (it was late). They were amazed that this was all that happened, got her all under control and sent her home. She says layers of her skin are peeling off and most likely her 4 fingers could end up being scarred for life. She got home to find the 2 boys still hard at work cleaning. The kitchen is black...

I feel so bad for them, They were both in such pain through the night. Brandon should have gone to insta-care with Bridget! His hand is burnt very bad also! His finger and thumb and up his arm could also have permenant scars.

This situation is scary and happens more than we know! So seriously remember how to put these out. Bridget and Brandon, we love you and are sad this happened but also happy it wasn't worse!
