SHE IS HERE!!!
Cora Jane Toyn was born July 15th at 4:52am.
She was born 5lbs. 12 oz. and 18 inches long.

Since Caramie is still in the hospital with Cora, and I spent the night at my parents with Hadlee, I thought I would update the blog and put some pics of the new babe. So since I'm not the pro at this you'll have to bare with me.
Here's what happened.
On Sunday night into Monday Caramie was "leaking" (I know that sounds bad, but how do you put that nicely :). And since her water never really broke (she "leaked":) with Hadlee we knew something was up. So on Monday she was having some fairly regular contractions we called the Dr. to find out what to do, and the nurse said that we should go to the hospital. Since we live in Bluffdale and our Dr. is in Ogden, we were delivering at McKay Dee Hospital and we wanted to make sure that we weren't going to have to be sent back to Bluffdale just to head back on Wednesday.
Upon arriving to the hospital, Caramie was checked out and everything was good. She was dilated to a 3 and was looking and doing great and The Dr. was keeping her here. Our Dr. was going to start her a later that night, so we actually got to go to Brigham and put Hadlee to bed at my parents house, so that was nice.
We got back to the hospital at 10:15 p.m. and we were checked in and Caramie got all hooked up and checked out. Between the time we went to Brigham and back she had dilated to a 4, so we were excited that this was going to be faster than the more than 14 hour labor that it was with Hadlee.
At 1:00 she was started on the "pit". 3:00 she was given the epidural and dilated to a 5. at 3:45 she was dilated to a 6 and the nurse told her to let her know if she felt some pressure because she thought that she was going to move fast from here. So literally 3 minutes later she called the nurse and said that she was feeling "that" pressure. the nurse checked and she was to a 10. So this baby was a comin!
The nurse was preparing everything and had Caramie do some pushing to kind of warm up... Ya, she had to stop that pretty quick or we would have had her without the Dr.
The Dr. walked in the room put on his coat and gloves, told Caramie to push once, and there she was! And the Dr. was in and out in literally 10 minutes. And we are now blessed to have another beautiful baby girl in our family. (sorry for the novel) :)
